Anyone using Elements 3.0?

I have Elements 3.0 installed on my daughters computer for her to use and it has always worked fine until now, something has been changed and I can not figure out what it is.
For some reason now when you plug in a memory card it is saving images as PSDs instead of JPEGs. I can not figure out what is making it do that. I have checked all the settings and cant figure it out. Any help would be great. Thanks
