I went skiing with my son and left my camera at home(not an accident). Luckily my son brought my daughter's D80 and the 24-120mm. The camera is a bit of a wreck because it's been maintained by a teen. It was only after the day was over and I had taken a few shots( quickly due to the cold and wind) did I realize that it had been st to iso 1000. There are many many technical issues with the pics, but I decided the view was too magnificent not to share. so here goes.

Oh sorry. Death Valley. Marc Muench is running a trip in April. If you click on the right most image in the header, you'll get a list of trips.
Death Valley is one of them.

I've been on several trips and really enjoyed the trip as well as learning a lot.

I love the perspective in #5, and the wispy cloud cover. The sky is a bit too saturated for me but I really like the shot overall. What a magnificent place!
