I feel like a complete phony calling these "Wildlife" shots. I was at a resort in southern California and found that the hotel "employed" 6 birds to fight their seagull problem. The birds were being trained by the handler and I just happend to be walking by with my camera. This is what I got. I LOVE the owl BTW.

Would you call a photographer who takes models into a studio a phony? since he didnt take the pictures in the models natural environment? and does it make them any less real if you photoshop flaws out?

you took some great pictures of some gorgeous animals... and I think they are fantastic.

You can take the wildlife out of the wild......but you can never take the WILD out of the WildLife........they will always be wild and natural born killers.......

Awsome shots, no matter how they were obtained. I think it is always good to let viewers of your images know if the amimal is captive or not. Just my own ethical opinion. Thanks for posting/sharing your images and the details about your images!

    Keep up the good work.
