While playing with my 9 month old I looked up and realized the light was perfect, so I grabbed my D700 and 85 and took a few shots of him.

4. about the time I reached for the 70-200 he started crying. Should have stopped down a bit.

Usually I post in the sports section, but thought I'd share these.

We keep waiting for them to change. Mine are brown and moms are green. They've definitely faded, but we still don't know what color they'll be. I'm terrible at posing, so candids are what usually I get.

He's got a cold and the ultimate elixir (mommy) was nowhere in sight. When he realizes she's not visible, this is his normal state.

A true photog says "I was playing with my child and saw perfect lighting so I grabbed the camera"

I'm glad you did, those are awesome. Definite scare-off-girlfriend pictures in about 16 years. :)

    Hey Sean,

The light was great. Love #3. When are you putting him on a snowboard?

He sits on them all the time. He, and his sister love coming out to the shop to help.
