Welcome! It is so cool to see so many newcomers!

I like #2. The red streak in the first detracts from the cactus. It looks like an airplane light trail, which is cool if it weren't intersecting the cactus.

I like the exposure on 2, but I like long exposures 1 with a different crop about an 1.5 inch off the bottom and call it Carbon Offset.

Thanks for welcoming me aboard and for the comments. I guess I'll submit #2 since even my wife didn't really like #1.

DsrtVW, Carbon Offset is a cool idea for #1. I like it.
