I was in Logan, UT with some friends visitting other friends and we went out into Providence Canyon for a lil bit. Hope you like this one.

Very nice photo Nathan! A little more of the top part of the photo would have been nice, but we can't always capture it all. I really like your shot. I've only tried a few slow shutter waterfalls so I really appreciate your talent.

Unique. Looks like it was about 1/4 second shutter speed but obviously you had to have a pretty small aperature. Yet everything is sharp. Are you using an advanced sharpening routine? I like it. I was really drawn into the detail. What ISO?

Thanks for the replies guys! Yes it would have been nice to have more of the upper falls but I was already at 17mm. :) I like it as is anyway. This was really only my 2nd time shooting a waterfall and I got more of the "look" that I wanted.

Settings: ISO 100, f14 with polarizer (was too lazy to put on any NDs so I just stopped it down) and 0.8 seconds. I focussed to the hyperfocal distance at f8 (because I didn't have a HFD graph with me and I could remember the HFD at f8 and 17mm) and then stopped down to f14. After making all my PS adjustments, I used the "extreme edge sharpening" technique. I also sharpened slightly when downsizing for the web. :)

    THANKS AGAIN!
