I just bought a 70-200L f/4 after swearing I was going to save up for a IS model. Real camera stores are dangerous, I should stick to online ones. It's hard to have will power when the lens is right there in front of you. :D

What's a good method for testing it out? I've never had a "real" lens before, so I have no clue. What's your favorite test?

    1. blow off work the late afternoon
    2. go to favorite shooting venue
    3. position self so the late afternoon light is facing your subjects
    4. attach lens to camera
    5. point at subject, use center focus
    6. click
    7. repeat as needed
