I saw this cool cloud yesterday over Mt. Hood. I think it's called a lenticular cloud.

Nice image of the mountain. These kinds of clouds are very very
interesting. I believe you are correct about the cloud type.
I have only seen them on very rare occasions here in Idaho. And as
luck would have... no camera on hand.
Had a decent view of the mountain on Monday from Portland.
