Trying to save Original Size failing...

Set up a private gallery for my client here:
http://www.aaronbrownphotos.com/Proofs/Editorial-Groove-Magazine/WNS-Shoot/11493822_baWvz#809696092_vTG3h

Password: [removed after question was answered]

I have original size turned on, also easy sharing is set to yes.

When you hover a file for size options, select any size to pop open lightbox, or just click the photo to lightbox and then try to "save photo", it takes you to the file name plus a "-D" of the image in the browser, which doesn't exist -- in the case of the first image in the gallery: 809696092_vTG3h-D.jpg.

Drop the -D and add -S, -M, -O, et. al., and it works fine. But the link provided only goes to -D which doesn't.

What's up with this? Did I do something wrong, or is this a bug on Smugmug's end? I'd like the clients to easily be able to download the files from the gallery and this isn't the only gallery this happens in.

I'm using the latest Firefox to browse on my end.

Thanks for the help guys / gals / Smugmug Heroes!

This is what I get in Safari when Save Photo is clicked (click to see it bigger):

    Hi Aaron,

Oops, you have right click protection turned on in that gallery which means the save photo link won't work for visitors. That's also why RogersDA was only able to save a Spacer.gif instead of your actual image. I wasn't able to duplicate the -D.jpg that you were referring to though. If you still see this can you please take a post a screen shot like David posted above?

If you want to allow downloads of the images you'll need to turn right click protection off. To change this you will need to go to the gallery settings window. You can get there by either clicking on the "Settings" button below the gallery thumbnail or, if you're in the gallery you can click on Tools > This Gallery > Gallery Settings. Then, scroll down and toggle Protected from "Yes" to "No".

I hope this helps. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask, we are always happy to help.

What baffled me was the first three listings on the download status screen in the post I made. I haven't used Safari to download anything in a llllooooooonnnnggggg time. So, I saw those etpro downloads and thought "wow that is unusual. Something bad is happening at SmugMug."

Turns out I had forgot about a java app that is downloaded each time I used Safari with E*Trade Pro. I forgot to clear the download screen. rolleyes1.gif11doh.gif
