Doesn't necessarily mean anything, Aaron. Just works out that way sometimes.

The light is nice and the color is good. I think there's too much negative space here--I want to see more detail of the flowers. If you have enough pixels, I would radically crop the frame, maybe just leaving the lower right quadrant.

Agree with Richard re. cropping, but it could do with even more…

…even just a little bit from a reflector (white shirt, white hanky (clean), or perhaps a teeny-weeny bit of fill-in flash…)

Nice idea! (like the colours of the 1st one (of the pair) BTW…)

Fill the frame (save wasting pixels!)

What you said is very true, and I would go back and do it that way if the flowers were still there. They are now all replaced with green leaves!!!!!!!
