Track day photo book

Looking for some feedback on the photo book design I've published up here:

http://mercphoto.exposuremanager.com/g/boxers_and_boxsters

This is a first-pass and I could definitely do better with the cover, and better with the text on the first page. But I'm reasonably "done" with the remaining page designs and layouts.

This is my first attempt at using Aperture to design a photo book and to use it to design a book for publication by a different vendor. I setup a custom theme for the particular book vendor I'd use and also created new master page layouts for this. I was surprised how quickly the whole book came together, especially compared to my old way of doing photo books, a page at a time in Photoshop.

Thanks for any feedback!

Cover design, I put little effort into this:

Opening page, I want to work more on this:
    2&file=page-0203_medium.jpg

I've put more work into the following pages. I've used a mix of pre-made master pages from within Aperture to doing my own master pages.
    4/5
    2&file=page-0405_medium.jpg

    6/7
    2&file=page-0607_medium.jpg

    8/9
    2&file=page-0809_medium.jpg

    10/11
    2&file=page-1011_medium.jpg

    12/13
    2&file=page-1213_medium.jpg

    14/15
    2&file=page-1415_medium.jpg

    16/17
    2&file=page-1617_medium.jpg

    18/19
    2&file=page-1819_medium.jpg

    20/21
    2&file=page-2021_medium.jpg

    22/23
    2&file=page-2223_medium.jpg

    24/25
    2&file=page-2425_medium.jpg

    26/27
    2&file=page-2627_medium.jpg

    Last page:

That's a pretty good idea. I'm not sure about the framing. On 6/7 as an example. one page is framed and the other without. If that's really the case, I'd pick one style and stick with it.

Good point. I can see sticking to the same style on facing pages. Now I'm also wondering if it should be one or the other for an entire book.

I like the consistency. So maybe one style?
