These are some photos that I captured in a span of 20 mins the other day. (well, from the sunrise to the rest was a bit of time, but all the rest, apart from the sunrise were captured in a 20 min window :D) The backgrounds are dried scrub grass.

EXIF's are as usual intact. My normal setup; Canon 1DMK2N, 400/5.6, and my Better Beamer.

I don't know how many of you have seen this phenomena. I had to Google it. It is called an iridescent cloud. It looks like part of a rainbow up in the sky by itself.

This Mute Swan kept getting in my way while trying to photograph the Gadwalls. He was looking for a handout me thinks or he really wanted his picture taken, so I obliged. :D

Wow, that was a very productive session. I have to say I love all of them but #3 and #4 just absolutely take my breath away. The water droplets on the head and the drip on his beak - WOW O WOW. Perfect.

Great series! Thanks for sharing these stunning shots.

I've seen two. The first time I had to google it too. I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me first. You got some great shots, I couldn't capture it very well.

3, 4 and 10, 11 are my favorites. Breathtaking shots.

    beautiful
I really like #10, with the little bit of displaced water to make it slightly 'quirky'. And #3 has such an elegant line, and the detail in the water drops.
