How do I choose a photo that will represent a gallery? Currently, it's random, different each time

Go to and view photo in gallery. Click Tools button.
    Tools > more > feature

Yeah, not really working right now and hasn't been for the last two days. It's not just me -- somebody just wrote me to ask if he was the only one or not. Is something more systemic wrong right now?

I just changed it and it worked fine, make sure you are going under one photo > more > feature, not under gallery> feature gallery [at bottom]. Keep trying and if it still does not work go to smugmug help desk, those people are amazing and fast.:D

I fixed it by unfeaturing the gallery, featuring the new photo, and then refeaturing the gallery. I hope that won't be the case every time. I've been refeaturing a photo every day for three years and never had trouble before. Weird.

You're right, deb, the Smugmug support people are great. I just hate to write about something relatively trivial that I thought I knew how to do!
