All used up (old house)

I really like these old homes, they really have character that lacks in most new construction, IMO. Unfortunately most are just left to fade away. I couldn't really work the composition as I would have liked. There was a trailer loaded with cut brush just out of frame to the right ... you can see a corner of it if you look.

    Hey wendell,

I love this shot. You captured that character you spoke of very well.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

I love this photo too :D

Every window is different, be it broken, boarded up, opened alittle, etc. I wanted to check out everything to see what I could find. 2 front doors -- wonder which is the front door and what room does the other door open into?

Neat photo -- kinda like a puzzle.

Mary Kim, thanks for taking a look and commenting. The old house does have lots of detail and textures to explore. I have the owners permission to return as I wish, so I'll be going back to work it some more.
