custom domain and CNAME

I think the help desk is tired of hearing from and i don't blame them....

I am trying to remove the smugmug from my current domain name.

I went to my DNS manager at MYHOSTING.com and got as far as the form attached...what do i fill in the blanks at the bottom.

I already have a website and just switched over to SMUGMUG this weekend...so I am a greenhorn but thoroughly impressed with SMUGMUG.

    Hi,

    If you no longer want the domain to point at your old site do this:

    If you still want to keep the old site, you need to setup a subdomain. To do that, ignore the above. Add a new CNAME record. Pick what you want in front of the domain like galleries.yourdomain.com Put that word in the zone field. The server would be domains.smugmug.com Click submit.

    Wait a little bit and then go to you control panel settings tab. Enter whatever you created either www.yourdomain.com or the subdomain.yourdomain.com That is what creates the final connection.

    Hi guys,
    I am new to power user section and I am struggling to setup the CNAME on my hosting website.
    I have the following CNAME record on my site:
    Name TTL Class Type Record
    www.teofoto.ro 14400 IN CNAME domains.smugmug.com
    The custom domain name is set to www.teofoto.ro in the smugmug control panel page.
    When I type www.teofoto.ro in the web browser I still see the default page of teofoto.ro instead of my smugmug account.
    Can you tell me what I do wrong?

    It seems that a divine power (user) just made the right connection and now the redirect works.
