No photographer nor any amount of editing wizardry can show its beauty this time of year. Very very soon the mountains will become a sea of wildflowers.

Excellent set Brian. As a fellow Arizonan (Tucson), I know how hard it is to capture the beauty of the desert, but your set is really very good imo clap.gif Nice job.

Agreed. I am always amazed by the landscapes here in AZ. You captured it quite well!

Thanks for looking, and for the kind words.
Dan, let me know if you need an apprentice to carry your gear sometime. Your shots are always terrific.

I too am anxiously awaiting the colors to explode. Pretty nice job here. The greens are a bit neon but it still works pretty well.

Trying to locate the butte in the background. Is this out near Lake Pleasant?

    Very nice
Very nice- The subtle greening of the desert in early spring is damned difficult to capture, you did well. I like #3 especially.

I was out a couple of weeks ago with my point and shoot trying to capture it, and didn't really get anything I was happy with.

The tip of Pinnacle Peak can be seen on the right edge of the first shot.

I think you've done a terrific job of capturing the colors and textures of the desert. I enjoyed them all.

I like the cactus in #2 and I prefer the single shot edit rather than the HDR treatment. It looks like everything is fine in the single shot. That's a pretty green scene for the desert. Nice setclap.gif

rolleyes1.gif That area was my first thought but then I over thought it.

I am heading up that direction Sunday to shoot sunrise around Bartlett. I heard the flowers were in bloom now.

Don't take all the good shots. I may be out and about also.
