New here hi all and quick queston

Hey all new here and thought I'd say hi and post my first question ok here goes. I currently am only shooting with a fujifim s1500 and I love outdoor photography and I recently have been doing night shots of light trails from passing cars I put my camera on my tripod and put it on a slow shutter speed but I don't seem to be getting the results that Im looking for any ideas folks? And I know I know lol I need to get a Dale I want one greatly but my budget doesn't agree with me, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

How slow of a shutter speed are you using, and can you post what you are getting and comment on what you expected to be different/better?

Yup - we need a bit more EXIF information to point you in the right direction. So, what ISO, shutter speed, and aperture were you using?
