Mixed bugs from Sunday

Some mixed bug shots from yesterday - nice sunny day after several days of misty rain.

Small orb web spider taken at 3:1 FF- Araniella sp.





Pine ladybird on camelia bud



Globular springtail rescues from a water puddle- has a rather odd colour patch on it's cheek. 5:1 FF



Moved a brick to use as a camera rest and found some tiny snails (1-3mm long) having a race.

now you are used to the full frame sensor, do you think you get better pic quality cropping from say x2 or x3 mag compared to full frame at x5 mag ?
