Looks like you had some easier & harder backgrounds to work with, love The marbely spot (like #10), and the couch (like #15), 25 is pretty cool too
I'd use a lower F stop for the brick shots, but all in one
Thanks for sharing. Hope you're getting a nice foot massage together with a big paycheck for these
-A I did use a low fstop on most of the brick stuff on an angle with the 85 f1.8, this one I just happened to have the 17-55 on and wasn't really ready for that moment that just kinda happened in 26. The gigs paid well, and were welcome as I don't have any weddings on my book till May. I do have a Bar Mitzvah in April.
I have a fairly short attention span for people in the off season so this was kinda perfect for me. A wedding was going on a 2 of the locations I was working, and I got that burning pit in my stomach which is stress, I was SO glad I wasn't shooting those weddings. I need to steel myself and mentally prepare before wedding season and I'm just not there yet.
I love 7.. nicely done.... though if you straightened it I'd be even happier.
Really neat locations!
And I feel your pain on the fast session - 8 actor headshot sessions in 3hrs last Sunday..... I consider it good practice but I was absolutely FRIED by the end.
No assistant, I just set lights where I'm doing the traditional portraits (and leave them there) and the rest is FOC or natural light.
Thanks Diva- if you haven't yet go check out the Hotel Monaco...very cool. 19 I would have in B&W if I was delivering it to them, its a little squirrely with the color.
