I think most speeds would do just fine for the 5d2. It's really size, but a minimum of x133 is optimal I believe. Also stick with some brand names (Lexar and Sandisk), they tend to be more conservative on their ratings.

Sandisk Extreme III is the best bang for the buck IMO.

I've been using the
Transcend TS4GCF300 (300x, UDMA)
card for a six or eight months and never had to wait for the buffer to unload to the card.
