These were taken across two trips to New Hampshire. Lovely state, friendly people, and amazing pancake restaurants! Most of these were taken in Bethlehem, but a few were taken along the Kangamagus Highway. Everywhere you look there's something that'd make a good shot! There are great places to camp, and even better cabins for rent all over the place, and it's all very family friendly.

CLICK FOR LARGER SIZES! Highly reccomended

Not too many at all. I like these shots overall. A little too heavy on the processing I feel in some of them. For example, that dark, almost black spot in the center of the sky on that first one is detrimental I feel. The horse shot is my favorite. The saturation and microcontrast really add to this scene. I also like #3. Gorgeous.

Being originally from MA and having spent many hours hiking, bicycling and motorcycling in that area, these pictures are of particular interest to me. We don't see many photos from this area for some reason. So keep posting them. deal.gif

I'm a native of that area and love your shots. The church, is that in Bretton Woods on Rt 302? If not where is it?

Oh, you've got me there. I know it was right off a major road, so it's entirely possible! I'd never seen the use of a GPS enabled camera before, but lately I've been seeing how it would be handy!

And to kdog, about the skies. Most of these HDRs were not taken with a tripod, or were just single RAW files made into HDRs and enhanced with Lucis or Topaz Adjust. It's an unfortunate side effect which I minimized where I could. It used to bother me, until about the 12th time I heard from non-photographers "WOW! Look at that sky! It looks like a painting! That's soo cool!" :) To each his own I guess.

    Thanks for the comments :)
