Leaping Lizards!
Not really leaping, at least not until they got sick of me. I shot these guys on my recent trip to Kauai. I used my 80-200 2.8 combined with the amazing but weird Canon 500D closeup lens. Adding the closeup lens gives a very limited working distance. It seems about 1.5-3ft. And an extremely shallow DOF. Especially at 200mm.

For #2 when we saw him he was just a shadow on the leaf. The little dude cruised over to the edge before I got my camera on him. I was bummed I missed the shot of just his shadow on the big green leaf. I snapped only 2 shots before he leaped off the leaf onto a tree.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
