Cathedral of Puebla, Mexico

Besides the Cholula Sanctuary, the only other interesting place that I was able to visit during my trip to Mexico was the Cathedral of Puebla. While not imposing or interesting from the outside, the interior -- with its high ceilings and gold all over the place -- can make you feel very little.

With hundreds of people visiting, this is not really a photography-friendly place. All of these had to be shot handheld.

Hope you enjoyed these...

These are gorgeous. Handheld, mercy. VR lens? Very sharp, details are awesome.
Last is my favorite. Lots of history there. Most places like this
will not allow a camera at all.

Wow...these are great. I really like the convergence of the upward shots 3 and 5.

Thank you, Bill. No VR lenses, just the Tokina 11-16 and the Tamron 28-75... I agree that most places like this have a no-camera policy, but in Mexico they seem to be pretty lax about photography...

Thank you, Jeremy. Number 5 is definitely my favourite of this lot :)

Thank you, Trey :) When I surrendered to the fact that the church was crowded with tourists, I realized that the actual action was happening above (quite fitting for a religious place, I should add!).
