You have to teach me to replicate the color of the grass in the first shot. The clouds are amazing in the second shot, but I like the colors in the first shot. Great scene!

Hi Craig,
Awesome shots, my friend. # 1 is my pick. Terrific PP.
Tom
I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.
Hi Craig,
While they are peaceful shots to me because of the vast emptiness, the darkness give it a turbulent touch.
I find it gives me a little bit of "oooooooommm" (that's me meditating) as I look at them.
Having a highly stressful week with no end in sight--I think I will be coming back to this post a few times today for a little more "oooooommmmmm try not to kill anyone, ooommmmmm".
Lovely shots--really speaks to me right now.
BTW in this instance I really like the one with color. I like how the water looks almost menacing and dark.
Hiya Craig - I really like the first one.. it made me wonder, are those cliffs 10 ft off the water or 100, the perspective from where you shot from was right on IMO.

Howdy Anthony,
Thanks very much, appreciate it, we need to meet up in Nova Scotia to give it a try:D:D:D
The colours in #1 are a thing of beauty, but as a whole I prefer #2. Killer shot in my book... out-of-this-world lines and texture, so much that it looks like a charcoal drawing.

Howdy Liz,
Thanks very much, glad you liked them, it was a very special place. It was one of our "splurges" on the trip.

Howdy Devin,
Thanks very much, it was a stunning view, the cliff drops off about a 100 feet straight down and also, 3-400 feet straight up from where we were.
Really like your perspective on this one. Great job Craig
Howdy Mary,
Thanks for the kind reply, We almost got blown over when the storm came in, the winds were over 75 mph and I have to say it was one of the first times I could hardly stand up in it.

Sure glad you didn't end up on the bottom end of all that beauty
