Wow.. that's some impressive stuff! I've been running CS3, having skipped the CS4 upgrade but if cool toys like that make their way into the CS5 version then I don't think I'll be passing it up! clap.gif

The final scene where they use content aware fill to complete the boundaries of a panorama are very interesting. It will be very, very hard to tell "real" from Memorex won't it?

I found this interesting as well. Great for those times when you don't account for needing to crop dead space in a panorama and you didn't stay wide enough!

indeed it is amazing...hopefully the results end up being as good as this appears! of course, it's also kind of scary at the same time...
Canon 7D and some stuff that sticks on the end of it.

The most interesting idea from the comments can be summarized thusly:

A guy who does extensive photography work as well as extensive 3D modelling says that Adobe has a long way to go with this feature before its realistic. Cool for sure, but its not by any means perfect, you'll see a lot of artifacts.

Maybe, but it's a heck of a starting base for retouching / cloning. Looks awesome!

Crazy stuff huh! I didn't think about the watermarks but that is a good point. I had a shot from a wedding last year where the couple was interacting and walking along a path by a pond. One of my favorites shots ever, except there was a raft in the pond with kids playing on it, ugly houses on the other side of the pond, for sale/political signs at the edge, a rusted culvert dumping rainwater, and on top of all of that her white dress was blown in a few spots from harsh June sun. I put about 10 hours into that one flibbin photo and it would have been about 3 minutes with this technology if it was dialed in like demoed. But even spending only a few hours touching up would be a godsend. I hope it comes to be!!!!

Of course it didn't say that this was part of the cs5 release, but if it is I will be buying it. As someone else said, I just stuck with cs3 because cs4 didn't really make my heart go pitter-pat, but this feature would change things for sure. I have photos that were otherwise good that didn't make the final cut because I didn't want to put the time into them.
