Not a good day for photographing aircraft in flight. Extremely bright sun, very hazy... ugh.. Salvaged some... enjoy

Using photography to pay for engineering school is a bad business plan.

I need to look into getting a multiplier for times like that. Thanks Glen!

I have two boys of my own... we still hit every airshow we can (they are 11 and 15). I remember when I could sit each of them on my shoulders at airshows... there's something about a little boy and his dad...
yessir.. back end of an F22....
Weird.. my son shot that one and I didn't even think to take any images of it... to many people milling around...

That is one sexy aircraft. I visited Tillamook Air Museum in Tillmook, Oregon last Friday and got the closest walkaround with an F14 I'd ever had. Man, those fighter jets are something to behold.
The engineering is incredible, their shape mind-bending and the fact that they are about 90% or more engine is just awesome. I'd never been that close to the back end of an F14 before to realize just how skinny the overall aircraft actually is. Just awesome.
