watermarks not appearing on photos

i keep finding weird glitches and i don't know if it is me or smugmug

my watermarks are in my slideshow but not on my photos. please see

    this has happened a few times. or if i change the watermark and then apply it to all photos in gallery it will either not apply, or apply to only some. i keep having difficulties with watermarks. the only way i found to resolve is if i start the gallery from scratch, but i shouldn't have to do that, should i?

    It looks like you had selected HAAWhiteLeft as your watermark when uploading photos. But, that watermark has been deleted. The slideshow may be caching the watermarked image as it is not applied to the photos currently. You need to delete the bad watermarks, then either create a new one or apply the one that is currently valid. That should fix things up.

    That is exactly what I did previous to posting. I deleted the watermark you mentioned. Then I uploaded a new one and applied but it is still is as you see it.

    I just removed watermarking from the slideshow gallery. Then I deleted all watermarks. Watermark is still showing in the slideshow.

    Now I am uploading a new watermark and will apply it to the gallery.

    I did all this before to no avail.

    I'm having a similar problem. I just created a placeholder gallery (for an upcoming project) and added one photo to it. I tried to watermark it, but the watermark isn't working. I used that same watermark on a gallery last night, so I know it's in the system. Here's the public url

    I wanted to add a photo because I wanted to go ahead and add pricing to the gallery. I've tried removing and then adding the watermark several times, no luck. Looking it at both in FF (as owner) and Chrome (as public visitor).

    Well, all I can say is, I waited quite awhile before posting. Could it be a cache issue?

    It was 20minutes. And sometimes (rarely) it can take that long.

    I did the "Color star new" and the "PPix Watermark".

    I just changed it to the Smugmug "Proof" to see if that works.

    The sample images I uploaded were 800 x 439. Watermarking does not work unless the image width is > 800 !

    I did not know that.
