Split point, Great Ocean Road, Victoria

The evening didn't turn on a magic sunset, so might have to go back another day and try again. A storm was rolling in on the right.

Absolutely gorgeous. Love the fence leading in from the right. And an amazing sky. Very well done.

I like it also. The ground is a bit dark but I think that's from the cloud cover. That stormy sky is amazing and really does help the shot, IMO. The long exposure did a great job on the water. Very nice image!

    I like the gray sky
I like the gray sky, it lets you focus on the color in the rocks.

I love this shot. Personally, I might crop a little tighter on the left side to get the lighthouse out of the center a bit and get rid of a little dead space but that's personal preference. Well done.

Incredible shot. I suppose cropping a little on the left/darkening the left sky may be preferential if you want to highlight the lighthouse/point rather than drawing the viewer toward the open ocean. Either way, it is stunning. Love the clouds, the fence, the velvet waves on the beach, the works. thumb.gif

Nice photo, I love the clouds and water. My brother just did the 12km trek along the road, it looks like a great place.

Very Nice!. For me has some of the qualities often seen in Peter Lik's work, especially the sky and the water.

Thanks for sharing this with us.
