WTB: Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 EX DG APO HSM for Canon

Hello,

I've started an event photography business and am looking for a good quality lens. At this point, I've narrowed my list down to the Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 EX DG APO HSM Canon mount. While I know the Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 IS is better, I'm not sure that's in the budget right now.

I'd love to hear any suggestions on great wedding/event lenses

If you can tweak the budget a bit lens pro to go has a few copies for sale for $1490.00 of the Canon! http://www.lensprotogo.com/index.php?pr=For_Sale

I know it's still pricy but it is an awesome lens! Fast focus IS is great and the optics are stellar. I would also look in to the 70-200 2.8 non IS by canon.
