Very sharp Glenn, I notice some noise in the background. What ISO were you using? We have Wrens in the UK but the are very small, smaller than Chickadees. Are these about the size of a Sparrow?
Canon 7D, EF 15mm Fisheye, EF 400 f2.8, EF 300f2.8, EF 100-400L IS, EF 70-200 f2.8, EF24-70 f2.8, 580EX II. Manfrotto mono, 055 ProB, 701 Video head. First SLR Zenith B, 12th Birthday 1972.

Great bokeh too.
Cousin.
I was shooting at iso 400 on my 1d mkIIn.
I also shoot with a 5D mkII, which would have been a much better choice for these shots.
I also usually use noise ninja in my process, and probably forgot to this time.
Yes they are about the size of sparrows, maybe even a bit larger. We also have some small wrens like the winter wren.

Thanks Jeff. There is a pair that hang out in our back yard, and they are quite bold.
Thanks Deb!

Took me 2 seconds to come to that conclusion!
Great shot Glen. That 2nd one is stunning. And yeah, they do look sparrow-ish.
