    Clever title. I like the first picture. The story is an easy read. All of the black material (I'm presuming) in the second picture really takes away from it. It almost looks like your shutter was set to fast for a flash sync speed. I do like the perspective though.

    I think I prefer #1

    #2 reminds me so much of the times where I've tried to squeeze the 37th or 38th frame on the end of a roll…

    When we take a photograph, and process it, we have an idea in mind of what we are trying to convey to the viewer.

    Sometimes that doesn't work. Maybe this square crop will work better.
