Nikkor 85mm/1.4 worth it if I have 80-200/2.8?

My main wedding lens is the 80-200 f/2.8 and I love it. I do find myself mostly shooting around 80mm with this and I'm quite happy.
I'm really thinking about picking up an 85mm f/1.4. I feel like I could definitely use the extra 2 stops (if needed) and even though I haven't seen a direct comparison, from what I understand, the 85/1.4 would be sharper w/ better bokeh as well.

Does anyone have/had both? Thoughts?

TIA

-Josh

I've had both. I didn't like the 85 on my crop camera...Sold it and kept the 80-200 f/2.8...But now on the fx I think it'd be great. Lots of folks swear by their 85...and one things for sure, it'd be easier to handle...but that zoom function is worth a lot, esp. when considering the quality of the lens too.

    cheers,

I don't have the 80-200 or equivalent but I can say that the 85mm 1.4 is my favorite lens for any kind of portrait work. To me..it's a must in any line up.
