After applying BZT this one photos did not crop. I tried thumb crop under
Tools and it said "in process". I made a 2nd copy so I could crop it and
delete original. Noticed that the 2nd copy landed 1st in gallery with
dates lost in EXIF.

Sorry about that. It is an old bug. I have reported it to the programmers. I will bump this as we really should get it fixed.

I hid the 2nd copy and the original now cropped.

Any update? Dates still being lost on 2nd copy.

Any news on this bug? This has been a problem for a very long time now.

This one is pretty complex to fix according to the programmers. They are aware of the issue and are working on a solution. Sorry that it is taking this long. Its not just a matter of copying data as there are a lot of little details in the system that data depends on that have to be considered.
