Sorry, this is no picture thread, but this is definitely "people" (as well as "technique", "lighting", "posing", etc.)

I might end up in STL for a week of July 3 .. July 11.
Would anybody be interested in posing/lighting seminar?
Similar to what I did last time for "Posing The Light"...

Getting local models would be no problem.
Neither would be bringing a few lights (I have amazingly compact yet powerful location setup).
Hotel/Community centers are always glad when they host some seminars, so I don't expect any troubles there (and I may get some dibs with a local university)

Please reply here if you think you'd like to attend...

I assume that you are talking taking poised shot of models, right? I like shooting candid shots of people but I would be interested, I'm sure I would learn something I could use.

So yeas I would be interested too.

It's more like posing and lighting. Definitely not candids.

    Glad to hear! thumb.gif
Can tell the price yet. Depends on the # of students and $ of facilities/models. We need to get at least 6+ solid "interests" then I can start solidifying the dates, locations and models.ne_nau.gif

I need a little clarification in terms of dates. I know that you said you would be there July 3 through 11. Does that mean that the seminar would be during that week or adjacent to that week?

At this point it can be anything. I'm mostly inclined to do it on 2d (last) Saturday, July 10th. OTOH if more people are available on Saturday July 3d (or any other day of that date span, for that matter) - I can be flexible...
    Clear as mud? ne_nau.gif

    Interested
I'm interested. Will depend on work/time/cost/ and a million other things but the photography related stuff seems to find its way to the priority list for me. :D

    Keep me informed!

Ran across this thread when looking for something else in my subscribed threads. Can't help but wonder if you did this as I don't remember seeing shots posted from it after it was over.
Thanks for any update you can give.

    Jane,
I didn't, BUT I most likely will be in STL around May 2011 for some other reason, so I might as well add a couple days to the trip and actually do it :-) - that is if there is any interest...
