ND stacking help

I just picked up two Kenko ND filters (for a song). One is a ND4 the other is a ND2. My question is, if I stack them, would this equal a ND6? It seems like it should when just looking through them, but I'm not totally sure. The whole ND thing is new to me and this is my cheap entry into what will probably become another expensive edition to this hobby. Thanks!
