Was able to shoot behind the scenes in a yet-to-open nursery this weekend. Do these fit the theme?

Same one with some "tilt-shift" added in pp:

Thanks.

Seems like a great fit to the theme to me! I love #3! clap.gifclap.gif

I think #1 works but with a different crop. I tried a "browser crop" and getting rid of most of the ceiling really brought the young plants forward.

Thanks. I'll play with the crop on #1. I want to keep the sun though. Thinking of the title "Starts with the Sun."

Very nice photos, but I expected you to come with a new-born photo...headscratch.gif

Sean said not to do something cliche like birth in the entry thread.

Can you hear it though, "do you mind if I let the nurse take over, so I can get a photo and, by the way, post it on the internet?"

Hmm... haven't heard of this ne_nau.gif but, since this is your speciality, it would be too bad, not to
try at least some gorgeous shots and... let's see what happens mwink.gif

It was just a suggestion to try and push everyone's imagination. New born photos will not be disqualified :D

Well, I don't think this can be called like this:
"do you mind if I let the nurse take over, so I can get a photo and, by the way, post it on the internet?"

    1. - it's not for the Internet - it's for a photo contest about the start (of a new life)

    2. - the nurse is helping anyway

    3. - I think that the mother would be happy to have her new born photo right at the beginning
    - It's a privilege not too many mothers can have...

    #1 or #3 for me.
Since these seem to be very young plants you could always call it "new born". :D

OK. I've cropped down the roof and submitted it to the Challenges Gallery using the title "The Sun's Newborn Nursery." Thanks everyone for the suggestions.

Wow, I really like all of these.

All the angles/lines/structure in #1 with the sun peeking through... so much space in that shot and so much to look at, my eye just keeps wandering around the image. Really cool.

#2 and #3 - the geometry and blocks of green in there are great. Still spacious and all those horizontals... I really really like both versions of it.

    Great, great shots! clap.gif
