6 stacked images, but I realized too late that I should have had a few more at the close edge. Stacked with Zerene dmap. Experimenting with increasing the radius to get better textures for flower shots.

    Lovely shot(s) - like the light - stack worked well.
    Agree re the OFF tendril at the bottom.

    I tend to use Zerene PMax most of the time for stacks but have only tried Dmap a few times.

    Brian, I found that for some flowers, both Dmap at its default and PMax create a granular texture, in extreme cases almost speckled. African violets are particularly bad, but I have had it with other flowers as well. I think the issue may be local variations in luminance. I tried doubling the radius in dmap, and it made a big difference, although the software's author says that loses some detail. later this spring, when I have more time, I plan to to do a series with both methods and different settings, using the same base files, to get a better handle on it. If i get that done, I'll post a link.
