Hello Keith, I'm sorry you are so upset :( We're updating our status blog http://status.blogs.smugmug.com/ with news. We're in Read Only Mode right now, while the engineers repair some things.

    I'm very sorry.

:( it sucks Andy, I honestly thought the downess was over with, it seems like SM goes down every time I need them to be up, is that because they are down more often than I think?

I honestly have thousands of images in queue you can see here that I have an event half uploaded and now me and my customers are waiting on SM

How about an email to me when I can start uploading again rather than me having to sit here and continue to check? I'll go watch Life o Discovery that I DVR'ed earlier

We're not in full operation right now - we're in Read Only - check the status blog for the official All Clear notice when we're back to normal.

send me an email, or text me, or call me

My customers expect to see the pictures right away, which means the longer SM is down the longer I tap f5 waiting to be able to provide the service that my customers have come to expect. The later I have to stay awake.

    C'mon

Andy, thanks for keeping us updated. I just peeked at my site and parts of it are in disarray . . . some photos are missing, and some galleries have become disconnected from their categories. I'm hoping this is related to the current problems and will be fixed when SM is restored.

Looks like we're back up, but the subcategory setting for more than 50 of my galleries has been set to "None", meaning that they are loose and unorganized. Help!

Andy, thanks for responding. I'm just about through re-linking those galleries to their categories. It was in here that I had the problem.

I'm not sure it's "all clear" on my home page the slideshow will occassionally show a much smaller photo. I made a new banner today and everthing was fine at the time. I went to show the wife the change and noticed the small photos in the slideshow, I was like...headscratch.gif Anyone else have this happen?

Hopefully this problem will go away, it looks quite stupid....lol3.gif

maybe it was my fault SM went down, too many tabs open pushing too many megabytes too much?

I'm uploading again with only three tabs at a time just in case
