I am guessing you bounced-flashed off the ceiling. Not very flattering lighting on the first one, giving your subject "racoon eyes". Might have been better to bounce off a wall if one was available. Can probably be corrected by cloning a bit of the lighter cheek below at a 25% opacity or so on the "lighten" setting. The expressions are also not very flattering for a beauty contestant. BUT, I really like the candid shot of the girls taking pictures.
