Duplicates in regular gallery make it look like "Collect photos" was used

One of my galleries is showing duplicates of a couple of images that make the gallery look like it's been set to a smart gallery or the collect photos feature was used when it has not.

The two photos are:
"Sojourn at Seven"
and
"Boy on Beach"
The duplicates of these images have the "Show in original gallery" link--- the link points to the following gallery where the images do not appear at all:

At one point I created copies of these two images in the "2010-Long-Beach-Washington" gallery and moved the copies over to the "Commercial/Worldmark-Long-Beach-WA" gallery.
