    Thanks for sharing that. I had seen the decline in portrait photography, but wasn't aware major publications were moving away from commissioned work in large numbers.

    Any guesses as to whether the amateur in the article has a proper model release for her images that are being sold? I'd think Flickr is about one large lawsuit away from dropping that agreement, but perhaps I'm wrong.

    No idea but I'd assume the media savvy publications won't run something without the proper release. I bet they don't outsource that part of their business, fact checking or release checking lol3.gif

    Interesting article. I agree with the fact that the blurring of the line is occurring. I wonder if society is suffering as a result of the loss of impartial photography.
