Suggestion: do not add new photos to an old post as many viewers do not revisit an older thread thinking that you are just responding to other posters. Better to start a new thread if you want feedback on a different photo.
Number 2 had real possibility, unfortunately not realized. The situation needed to be worked, as most situations do; how were people interacting with ratman, or whatever he was? What sort of expressions did he elicit? How did kids react to him? All sorts of possibilities.
