Hi All, new to this site... and loving it already!

Does this work or is it over processed?

Also sorry about the watermark, i'm stuck at work and don't have the original on hand.

All CC welcome :beer

    Hi, Welcome to Dgrin! wave.gif
I think the shot is a little overcooked, there's no detail left in the face, bring that back a little and I think it would be good!

Great connection with camera. Nice job!

I would tend to agree with Melissa - maybe a tad overdone but who is to say? This version really draws you to her eyes. Is the framing out of the camera or did you crop to this? I think an even tighter crop might work here if you have the room. May get rid of the stuff on the left? The eye I'm drawn to is right in the center of the frame.

I was definately drawn to this image. Very artsy...in processing. Could easily be in some fashion mag for sure. It depends where you are going with this picture for the pp. I like it as is, but it does give the impression of being highly manipulated as an image. It completely depends what you want out of it! Thanks for sharing!

I do like it, but it's almost at an in-between stage for me. The processing does draw you to the one eye, but there's enough detail there in the rest of the image that I'm just bouncing around too much looking for more detail. Some of that seems to do with the detail in the hair, and the bright area to the left. A vertical crop cutting partway into the hair on both sides draws me in and keeps me there. Just something else to try if this processing is a version you are wanting to stick with.

Thank you everyone for the suggestions, the cropping is straight from the camera....but now you have me thinking of re cropping. Thanks again for your help and suggestions it helps me look at my own pics in a whole new light which is what i need at the moment wings.gif

It has a very cool, commercial/advertisement feel to it. Great job!

I like the blown out look. It all depends on what you are going for. Everyone is different.

I think it's great the way it is. My 2¢
