Ok, nobody liked my protest for keeping birds in captivity :dunno

Here are some other possibilities:

#3 Ephemeral - I know I came up with this title exactly in the same day as WhatSheSaw
- I have not proof that I didn't copy the idea, but I didn't.

Great shots! Ephemeral is a great title and I am not surprised that we both arrived at it! Excellent photo, too, but I am not getting beginning or ending as much from it as from the others.

#1 and #2 are really special and theme worthy. I might call #2 "Walk on Water".

#2 speaks to me best from this set. But the image isn't explicitly theme worthy and there are a ton of images out there of water birds taking off. The caption might set it off highlighting how this could be a beginning or ending: Separation, Leaving Earth, Transition, New Phase. Play with what the image says to you using the theme as a constraint. Just some ideas.

all fabulous shots!!! The bird in take off is really the only one that screams out with the theme, to me!
