Watermarking takes forever?

Is it just me, or is watermarking a single photo taking forever for everyone?
I upload a single photo and select a watermark for it and it can take an 30 minutes to an hour. I even try old watermarks, that used to load on quickly and they are taking forever.
Any ideas why?
