Problems Uploading Photos - Uploads Fail

I noticed recently that when I try to upload my pictures, they upload as an error no matter what size I upload. All my pictures are .JPG format. The uploads worked fine yesterday. Why can't I upload my pictures today and why do the uploads fail every time? Can anyone help me fix this?

I also noticed that sometimes when I look at an image in visitor view the prices don't show up? Then when I go back to the gallery the prices do show up again. I'm concerned why the prices don't show up sometimes, I hope my customers can see the prices.

I look forward to your reply, please help??? :dunno

SmugMug is having an issue right now. The engineers are getting it fixed. That is probably why uploads are not working right now.

Glad to hear its just not me. Ive been trying to upload some files *between 500kb and 1mb* and at first they were just giving me an error message, and now its logging me out at the end, with the file not actually uploaded.

im on dial up, so uploading these files can be problematic at times.

    uploads
The problems I had are fixed, thanks! However, just for your info, the uploads are reaching the gallery but the photo don't show. Only the notice "processing the image" whilst waiting for "api smugmug.com".

    Upload picture errors
Is this issue still going on. I cannot send more than one or two pictures at a time without getting an error message. It is a real pain in the rear.

Macdaddy in my case. 6 out of 40 images failed to upload. 2 out of 6 failed on the second attempt, 1 out of 2 failed on the third attempt. The last image loaded correctly 4th time around.

There were still errors, the simple uploader automatically retried though and they all went through in the end.

    Upload fails
Andy, It fails from both lightroom and the browser. It will upload any were from 0 to 20 pictures at a time before failing. I am sending jpegs via the lightroom plug-in. This has always worked until today. Yesterday I uploaded close to 1000 images without failing once.

Hey Andy, I'm getting the same thing.

    Here's the error:

    Error response from SmugMug:
    wrong format (ByteCount given: 748748,
    received: 748748. MD5Sum given:
    0bb7985413f8a5ea9d98e3aa058200f1,
    actual:
    0bb7985413f8a5ea9d98e3aa058200f1

aborting export after 6 of 13 images successfully
    uploaded.

The error is usually the same with the byte count and MD5Sum numbers different of course for different images.

You may already have this, but I wanted to make sure.

Will press on for now, thanks for your help!
