Yet Another Morning

This year I decided to volunteer a few days a week at the state poppy reserve. Since I live about 75 miles away, I've been spending a few nights a week with my brother who lives much closer, about 20 miles away. Great chance to spend some time with him and his wife. Second best, is I'm close enough to get out to the park before the sunrise and chase the light around for a few hours before I start.

Thank you. The night before last may have been the last night as our schedules diverge and the poppy season may not last until into May. Spending the time with him was the best part of the last month. We used to golf together, but this was some real time. I think it really helped set a positive mood for my morning photo ops.

Walter, I like 'em all. Nice to hear about your special time with your brother too.

Thank you everyone. I'm hoping to get back and do some more before the season fades. I have to say though, I'm looking forward to the two trips I have this month in the other direction and back into the deep desert stuff.
