And I'm excited! :)

I had this image printed on 30x20 Canson fineart paper, and mounted in a silver frame with a double white matte, ready to be hung in my first exhibition. I must say, it looks fantastic at that size. All the works have to be available for sale (it's a fund-raising event, and they take 20% of the sale amount, which is fine), so I've taken some advice from a few 'experts' about the pricing. I was quite shocked that the cheapest estimate put it at $500, and ranged up to $800. Mind you, it cost $230 to have it printed and framed. I was also advised to make it a limited edition run of 100 if I wanted to make more available for sale, so this will be #1 of 100. It's perhaps a mistake, but I'm pricing it at $550. If it sells quickly, and there are others interested, I'll see how I go from there. BTW, all prices are in Australian dollars. Multiply by 0.92 to get US$ if you're interested.

Here's how it began:

It's a community fund-raising art exhibition in a church near Joondalup.
