I'm a Finalist in a Contest - Wow!

I recently took an on-line course at BetterPhoto.com. I posted this shot in my gallery, and was I surprised when it was chosen as an Editor's Pick for the monthly landscape photo contest! :barb

It is very satisfying because I didn't enter this in the contest. It was chosen by someone who saw it in my gallery.

Great shot especially for not using a tripod. I used to own that Sigma lens too, it is a great lens! I hope you win the contest.

Thanks, ya'll! I do like that Sigma lens a lot. I want to learn to use it for closeup wide angle shots--I've tried it on some wildflowers, with limited success. More practice needed!
