Yeah, the lady in red is the protagonist here, along with the up and down arrow sign.
I like this especially in the context of two of your YIR 2009 pictures. It reminds me of the selective color bus but without the selective color. It has the same sense of different dimensions. And the picture with the people in cars and all the signs. It has the same sense of the overwhelming marketplace.
I like the possibility that's here. Were I you, I'd turn this into a square, and lose everything to the left of the woman in red's hand. (Or right from the viewer's perspective.)
I prefer the original too. The lady in red seems cramped in there now - not enough space to her left. The capture gives that wonderful feeling of sensory overload on a busy street. Love the colour too Richard.

Thanks Rutt. I was definitely seeing urban overload and that's what I wanted to capture.

That works, but I'm not sure that I like it more.
Doesn't work for me. Now the out of focus mirror is smack in the center :-(
Go back to the original and crop the green light. On screen, it looks less busy to me :-)

But I want it to be busy.
Thanks Patti.
A keen photo.
Love the vibrant color too. Nice there also.
